STRATUS Alternative Fund SCC (Stratus), the alternative investment platform operated by NCB Capital Markets Limited (NCBCM), announced its landmark investment in the first full-service cancer treatment facility in Jamaica and the western Caribbean.
Stratus has provided equity financing of US$1.5 million to Alliance International Medical Limited (AIM) through its Private Equity and SME Fund.
“By investing in AIM we are fulfilling our promise to unlock remarkable opportunities for visionary Jamaicans like Dr Stanford who dared to dream and give back to our country. Our collaboration with AIM will make cancer care more accessible to Jamaicans and Caribbean nationals,” Simone Hudson, vice-president of alternatives and fund management at NCBCM stated.
